もちろん、自分自身で事を定める力が自分にある、と言うのではない。わたしたちのこうした力は、神からきている。 ■ 人は天から与えられなければ、何ものも受けることはできない。 ■ わたしをつかわされた父が引きよせて下さらなければ、だれもわたしに来ることはできない。わたしは、その人々を終りの日によみがえらせるであろう。 ■ わたしは彼らに一つの心と一つの道を与えて常にわたしを恐れさせる。 [2コリ3:5 | ヨハ3:27 | ヨハ6:44 | エレ32:39]

愛する兄弟たちよ。思い違いをしてはいけない。あらゆる良い贈り物、あらゆる完全な賜物は、上から、光の父から下って来る。父には、変化とか回転の影とかいうものはない。父は、わたしたちを、いわば被造物の初穂とするために、真理の言葉によって御旨のままに、生み出して下さったのである。 [ヤコ1:16-18]

わたしたちは神の作品であって、良い行いをするように、キリスト・イエスにあって造られたのである。神は、わたしたちが、良い行いをして日を過ごすようにと、あらかじめ備えて下さったのである。 [エペ2:10]

主よ、あなたはわれわれのために平和を設けられる。あなたはわれわれのためにわれわれのすべてのわざをなし遂げられた。 [イザ26:12]

It is God which worketh in you. [Phi.2:13]

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God. ■ A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. ■ No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. ■ And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever. Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. [Jas.1:16-18]

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. [Eph.2:10]

Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us. [Isa.26:12]
