それだのに神は、知者をはずかしめるために、この世の愚かな者を選び、強い者をはずかしめるために、この世の弱い者を選び、有力な者を無力な者にするために、この世で身分の低い者や軽んじられている者、すなわち、無きに等しい者を、あえて選ばれたのである。それは、どんな人間でも、神のみまえに誇ることがないためである。 [1コリ1:27-29]

Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. [Zech.4:6]

Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord, or being his counsellor hath taught him? [Isa.40:13]

God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence. [I Cor.1:27-29]

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. ■ Born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. [John.3:8 | John.1:13]

My Spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not. ■ The battle is not your's, but God's. [Hag.2:5 | II Chr.20:15]
