主よ、神々のうち、だれがあなたに比べられようか、だれがあなたのように、聖にして栄えあるもの、ほむべくして恐るべきもの、くすしきわざを行うものであろうか。 ■ 聖なるかな、聖なるかな、聖なるかな、全能者。 [出15:11 | 黙4:8]

聖なる装いをして主を拝め。 ■ わたしは主が高くあげられたみくらに座し、その衣のすそが神殿に満ちているのを見た。その上にセラピムが立ち、おのおの六つの翼をもっていた。その二つをもって顔をおおい、二つをもって足をおおい、二つをもって飛びかけり、互に呼びかわして言った。「聖なるかな、聖なるかな、聖なるかな、万軍の主、その栄光は全地に満つ」。その時わたしは言った、「わざわいなるかな、わたしは滅びるばかりだ。わたしは汚れたくちびるの者だから」。 ■ わたしはあなたの事を耳で聞いていましたが、今はわたしの目であなたを拝見いたします。それでわたしはみずから恨み、ちり灰の中で悔います」。 [1歴16:29 | イザ6:1-3,5 | ヨブ42:5,6]

Thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. [Exo.34:14]

Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? ■ Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty. [Exo.15:11 | Rev.4:8]

Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. ■ I saw ... the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.
