主は、わたしの足を岩の上におかれた。 [詩40:2]

まごころをもって信仰の確信に満たされつつ、みまえに近づこうではないか。わたしたちの告白する望みを、動くことなくしっかりと持ち続けようではないか。 ■ 疑わないで、信仰をもって願い求めなさい。疑う人は、風の吹くままに揺れ動く海の波に似ている。 [ヘブ10:22,23 | ヤコ1:6]

だれが、キリストの愛からわたしたちを離れさせるのか。患難か、苦悩か、迫害か、飢えか、裸か、危難か、剣か。しかし、わたしたちを愛して下さったかたによって、わたしたちは、これらすべての事において勝ち得て余りがある。わたしは確信する。死も生も、天使も支配者も、現在のものも将来のものも、力あるものも、高いものも深いものも、その他どんな被造物も、わたしたちの主キリスト・イエスにおける神の愛から、わたしたちを引き離すことはできないのである。 [ロマ8:35,37-39]

He set my feet upon a rock. [Psa.40:2]

That Rock was Christ. ■ Simon Peter ... said, Thou art the Christ the Son of the living God. Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. ■ Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Full assurance of faith. Faith without wavering. ■ Faith, nothing wavering ... He that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. [Heb.10:22,23 | Jas.1:6]

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
