貧しいようであるが、多くの人を富ませている。 [2コリ6:10]

あなたがたは、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストの恵みを知っている。すなわち、主は富んでおられたのに、あなたがたのために貧しくなられた。それは、あなたがたが、彼の貧しさによって富む者になるためである。 ■ わたしたちすべての者は、その満ち満ちているものの中から受けて、めぐみにめぐみを加えられた。 ■ わたしの神は、ご自身の栄光の富の中から、あなたがたのいっさいの必要を、キリスト・イエスにあって満たして下さるであろう。 ■ 神はあなたがたにあらゆる恵みを豊かに与え、あなたがたを常にすべてのことに満ち足らせ、すべての良いわざに富ませる力のあるかたなのである。 [2コリ8:9 | ヨハ1:16 | ピリ4:19 | 2コリ9:8]

神は、この世の貧しい人たちを選んで信仰に富ませ、神を愛する者たちに約束された御国の相続者とされたではないか。 ■ 人間的には、知恵のある者が多くはなく、権力のある者も多くはなく、身分の高い者も多くはいない。それだのに神は、知者をはずかしめるために、この世の愚かな者を選び、強い者をはずかしめるために、この世の弱い者を選び、 [ヤコ2:5 | 1コリ1:26,27]

しかしわたしたちは、この宝を土の器の中に持っている。その測り知れない力は神のものであって、わたしたちから出たものでないことが、あらわれるためである。 [2コリ4:7]

Poor, yet making many rich. [II Cor.6:10]

Ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. ■ Of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. ■ My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. ■ God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? ■ Not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. [II Cor.4:7]
