知恵を求めて得る人、悟りを得る人はさいわいである。 [箴3:13]

わたしを得る者は命を得、主から恵みを得るからである。 [箴8:35]

主はこう言われる、「知恵ある人はその知恵を誇ってはならない。力ある人はその力を誇ってはならない。･･･誇る者はこれを誇とせよ。すなわち、さとくあって、わたしを知っていることを」。 ■ 主を恐れることは知恵のもとである。 [エレ9:23,24 | 箴9:10]

わたしにとって益であったこれらのものを、キリストのゆえに損と思うようになった。わたしは、更に進んで、わたしの主キリスト・イエスを知る知識の絶大な価値のゆえに、いっさいのものを損と思っている。キリストのゆえに、わたしはすべてを失ったが、それらのものを、ふん土のように思っている。それは、わたしがキリストを得るためであり、 ■ キリストのうちには、知恵と知識との宝が、いっさい隠されている。 ■ 計りごとと、確かな知恵とは、わたしにある、わたしには悟りがあり、わたしには力がある。 [ピリ3:7,8 | コロ2:3 | 箴8:14]

キリストは神に立てられて、わたしたちの知恵となり、義と聖とあがないとになられたのである。 [1コリ1:30]

知恵のある者は人の心をとらえる。[口語訳聖書の『不法な者は人の命をとる』は誤訳と思われる] [箴11:30]

September 20, Morning

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. [Prov.3:13]

Whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. [Prov.8:35]

Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might: ... but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord. ■ The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. [Jer.9:23,24 | Prov.9:10]

What things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ. ■ In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. ■ Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
