主に寄り頼む者はさいわいである。 [箴16:20]

彼（アブラハム）は、神の約束を不信仰のゆえに疑うようなことはせず、かえって信仰によって強められ、栄光を神に帰し、神はその約束されたことを、また成就することができると確信した。 ■ ユダの人々は勝を得た。彼らがその先祖の神、主を頼んだからである。 [ロマ4:20,21 | 2歴13:18]

神はわれらの避け所また力である。悩める時のいと近き助けである。このゆえに、たとい地は変り、山は海の真中に移るとも、われらは恐れない。 ■ 主に寄り頼むは人にたよるよりも良い。主に寄り頼むはもろもろの君にたよるよりも良い。 ■ 人の歩みは主によって定められる。主はその行く道を喜ばれる。たといその人が倒れても、全く打ち伏せられることはない、主がその手を助けささえられるからである。 [詩46:1,2 | 詩118:8,9 | 詩37:23,24]

主の恵みふかきことを味わい知れ、主に寄り頼む人はさいわいである。主の聖徒よ、主を恐れよ、主を恐れる者には乏しいことがないからである。 [詩34:8,9]

Whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. [Prov.16:20]

[Abrahaml staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. ■ The children of Judah prevailed, because they relied upon the Lord God of their fathers. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. ■ It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes. ■ The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. [Psa.34:8,9]
