神を見た者はまだひとりもいない。ただ父のふところにいるひとり子なる神だけが、神をあらわしたのである。 ■ 御子は神の栄光の輝きであり、神の本質の真の姿であって、その力ある言葉をもって万物を保っておられる。そして罪のきよめのわざをなし終えてから、いと高き所にいます大能者の右に、座につかれたのである。 ■ 彼らの場合、この世の神が不信の者たちの思いをくらませて、神のかたちであるキリストの栄光の福音の輝きを、見えなくしているのである。 [ヨハ1:18 | ヘブ1:3 | 2コリ4:4]

March 12, Morning

The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee. The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. [Num.6:25,26]

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. ■ The brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person. ■ The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies sake.
