あなたがた自身も、罪に対して死んだ者であり、キリスト・イエスにあって神に生きている者であることを、認むべきである。 [ロマ6:11]

わたしの言葉を聞いて、わたしをつかわされたかたを信じる者は、永遠の命を受け、またさばかれることがなく、死から命に移っているのである。 ■ わたしは、神に生きるために、律法によって律法に死んだ。わたしはキリストと共に十字架につけられた。生きているのは、もはや、わたしではない。キリストが、わたしのうちに生きておられるのである。しかし、わたしがいま肉にあって生きているのは、わたしを愛し、わたしのためにご自身をささげられた神の御子を信じる信仰によって、生きているのである。 [ヨハ5:24 | ガラ2:19,20]

わたしが生きるので、あなたがたも生きるからである。 ■ わたしは、彼らに永遠の命を与える。だから、彼らはいつまでも滅びることがなく、また、彼らをわたしの手から奪い去る者はない。わたしの父がわたしに下さったものは、すべてにまさるものである。そしてだれも父のみ手から、それを奪い取ることはできない。わたしと父とは一つである」。 [ヨハ14:19 | ヨハ10:28-30]

あなたがたはキリストと共によみがえらされたのだから、上にあるものを求めなさい。そこではキリストが神の右に座しておられるのである。あなたがたは上にあるものを思うべきであって、地上のものに心を引かれてはならない。あなたがたはすでに死んだものであって、あなたがたのいのちは、キリストと共に神のうちに隠されているのである。 [コロ3:1-3]

Reckon ye yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. [Rom.6:11]

He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. ■ I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Because I live, ye shall live also. ■ I give unto them eternal life: and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
