あなたの約束はわたしを生かす。 [詩119:50]

最初の人アダムは生きたものとなった･･･最後のアダムは命を与える霊となった。 [1コリ15:45]

それは、父がご自分のうちに生命をお持ちになっていると同様に、子にもまた、自分のうちに生命を持つことをお許しになったからである。 ■ わたしはよみがえりであり、命である。わたしを信じる者は、たとい死んでも生きる。また、生きていて、わたしを信じる者は、いつまでも死なない。 [ヨハ5:26 | ヨハ11:25,26]

この言に命があった。そしてこの命は人の光であった。彼を受けいれた者、すなわち、その名を信じた人々には、彼は神の子となる力を与えたのである。それらの人は、血すじによらず、肉の欲によらず、また、人の欲にもよらず、ただ神によって生れたのである。 [ヨハ1:4,12,13]

人を生かすものは霊であって、肉はなんの役にも立たない。わたしがあなたがたに話した言葉は霊であり、また命である。 ■ というのは、神の言は生きていて、力があり、もろ刃のつるぎよりも鋭くて、精神と霊魂と、関節と骨髄とを切り離すまでに刺しとおして、心の思いと志とを見分けることができる。 [ヨハ6:63 | ヘブ4:12]

Thy word hath quickened me. [Psa.119:50]

The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. [I Cor.15:45]

As the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself. ■ I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. [John.5:26 | John.11:25,26]

In him was life; and the life was the light of men ... As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. [John.1:4,12,13]

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. ■ The word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two_edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
