彼は万物よりも先にあり･･･。 [コロ1:17]

アァメンたる者、･･･神に造られたものの根源であるかた。 ■ 自らは、そのからだなる教会のかしらである。彼は初めの者であり、死人の中から最初に生れたかたである。それは、ご自身がすべてのことにおいて第一の者となるためである。 [黙3:14 | コロ1:18]

主が昔そのわざをなし始められるとき、そのわざの初めとして、わたしを造られた。いにしえ、地のなかった時、初めに、わたしは立てられた。彼が天を造り、海のおもてに、大空を張られたとき、わたしはそこにあった。彼が上に空を堅く立たせ、淵の泉をつよく定め、海にその限界をたて、水にその岸を越えないようにし、また地の基を定められたとき、わたしは、そのかたわらにあって、名匠となり、日々に喜び、常にその前に楽しみ、 ■ わたしは神である、今より後もわたしは主である。 [箴8:22,23,27-30 | イザ43:13]

The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: when he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep; when he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment.
