わたしたち信じている者は、安息にはいることができる。 [ヘブ4:3]

悪を行い、疲れて悔い改めるいとまもない。 ■ わたしの肢体には別の律法があって、わたしの心の法則に対して戦いをいどみ、そして、肢体に存在する罪の法則の中に、わたしをとりこにしているのを見る。わたしは、なんというみじめな人間なのだろう。だれが、この死のからだから、わたしを救ってくれるだろうか。 [エレ9:5 | ロマ7:23,24]

すべて重荷を負うて苦労している者は、わたしのもとにきなさい。あなたがたを休ませてあげよう。 ■ わたしたちは、信仰によって義とされたのだから、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストにより、神に対して平和を得ている。わたしたちは、さらに彼により、いま立っているこの恵みに信仰によって導き入れられ、そして、神の栄光にあずかる希望をもって喜んでいる。 [マタ11:28 | ロマ5:1,2]

神の安息にはいった者は、･･･自分もわざを休んだからである。 ■ 律法による自分の義ではなく、キリストを信じる信仰による義、すなわち、信仰に基く神からの義を受けて、キリストのうちに自分を見いだすようになるためである。 ■ これが安息だ、疲れた者に安息を与えよ。これが休息だ。 [ヘブ4:10 | ピリ3:9 | イザ28:12]

We which have believed do enter into rest. [Heb.4:3]

They weary themselves to commit iniquity. ■ I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? [Jer.9:5 | Rom.7:23,24]

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ■ Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. [Matt.11:28 | Rom.5:1,2]

He that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works. ■ Not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. ■ This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing.
