「主の御霊がわたしに宿っている。貧しい人々に福音を宣べ伝えさせるために、わたしを聖別してくださったからである。主はわたしをつかわして、囚人が解放され、盲人の目が開かれることを告げ知らせ、打ちひしがれている者に自由を得させ、主のめぐみの年を告げ知らせるのである」。そこでイエスは、「この聖句は、あなたがたが耳にしたこの日に成就した」と説きはじめられた。すると、彼らはみなイエスをほめ、またその口から出て来るめぐみの言葉に感嘆した。 [ルカ4:18,19,21,22]

主は振りむいてペテロを見つめられた。そのときペテロは、「きょう、鶏が鳴く前に、三度わたしを知らないと言うであろう」と言われた主のお言葉を思い出した。そして外へ出て、激しく泣いた。 [ルカ22:61,62]

主は牧者のようにその群れを養い、そのかいなに小羊をいだき、そのふところに入れて携えゆく。 [イザ40:11]

I will be as the dew unto Israel. [Hos.14:5]

A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench. [Isa.42:3]

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he began to say unto thern, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. [Luke.4:18,19,21,22]

And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And Peter went out and wept bitterly. [Luke.22:61,62]

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. [Isa.40:11]
