わたしはよみがえりであり、命である。わたしを信じる者は、たとい死んでも生きる。 ■ 神が永遠のいのちをわたしたちに賜わり、かつ、そのいのちが御子のうちにあるということ。御子を持つ者はいのちを持ち、神の御子を持たない者はいのちを持っていない。 [ヨハ11:25 | 1ヨハ5:11,12]

すなわち、主ご自身が天使のかしらの声と神のラッパの鳴り響くうちに、合図の声で、天から下ってこられる。その時、キリストにあって死んだ人々が、まず最初によみがえり、それから生き残っているわたしたちが、彼らと共に雲に包まれて引き上げられ、空中で主に会い、こうして、いつも主と共にいるであろう。だから、あなたがたは、これらの言葉をもって互に慰め合いなさい。 ■ 彼（キリスト）が現れる時、わたしたちは、自分たちが彼に似るものとなることを知っている。そのまことの御姿を見るからである。 ■ 卑しいものでまかれ、栄光あるものによみがえり、弱いものでまかれ、強いものによみがえる。 [1テサ4:16-18 | 1ヨハ3:2 | 1コリ15:43]

When Chrlst, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. [Col.3:4]

I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. ■ God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. [John.11:25 | I John.5:11,12]

The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. ■ When he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. ■ It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
