その名は、「霊妙なる議士」ととなえられる。 [イザ9:6]

その上に主の霊がとどまる。これは知恵と悟りの霊、深慮と才能の霊、主を知る知識と主を恐れる霊である。彼は主を恐れることを楽しみとする。 [イザ11:2,3]

知恵は呼ばわらないのか、悟りは声をあげないのか。「人々よ、わたしはあなたがたに呼ばわり、声をあげて人の子らを呼ぶ。思慮のない者よ、悟りを得よ、愚かな者よ、知恵を得よ。聞け、わたしは高貴な事を語り、わがくちびるは正しい事を語り出す。計りごとと、確かな知恵とは、わたしにある、わたしには悟りがあり、わたしには力がある。 [箴8:1,4-6,14]

万軍の主･･･その計りごとは驚くべく、その知恵はすぐれている。 ■ あなたがたのうち、知恵に不足している者があれば、その人は、とがめもせずに惜しみなくすべての人に与える神に、願い求めるがよい。そうすれば、与えられるであろう。 ■ 心をつくして主に信頼せよ、自分の知識にたよってはならない。すべての道で主を認めよ、そうすれば、主はあなたの道をまっすぐにされる。 [イザ28:29 | ヤコ1:5 | 箴3:5,6]

His name shall be called Counsellor. [Isa.9:6]

The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge, and of the fear of the Lord. And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord. [Isa.11:2,3]

Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man. O ye simple, understand wisdom: and ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart. Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. [Prov.8:1,4-6,14]

The Lord of hosts ... is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. ■ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. ■ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
