勇士が奪った獲物をどうして取り返すことができようか。暴君がかすめた捕虜をどうして救い出すことができようか。しかし主はこう言われる、「勇士がかすめた捕虜も取り返され、暴君が奪った獲物も救い出される。わたしはあなたと争う者と争い、･･･すべての人はわたしが主であって、あなたの救主、またあなたのあがない主、ヤコブの全能者であることを知るようになる」。 ■ 恐れてはならない、わたしはあなたと共にいる。驚いてはならない、わたしはあなたの神である。わたしはあなたを強くし、あなたを助け、わが勝利の右の手をもって、あなたをささえる。 [イザ49:24-26 | イザ41:10]

この大祭司は、わたしたちの弱さを思いやることのできないようなかたではない。罪は犯されなかったが、すべてのことについて、わたしたちと同じように試錬に会われたのである。 ■ 主ご自身、試錬を受けて苦しまれたからこそ、試錬の中にある者たちを助けることができるのである。 ■ 人の歩みは主によって定められる。主はその行く道を喜ばれる。たといその人が倒れても、全く打ち伏せられることはない、主がその手を助けささえられるからである。 [ヘブ4:15 | ヘブ2:18 | 詩37:23,24]

I am with thee to save thee. [Jer.15:20]

Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee. And all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. ■ Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my rightousness. We have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. ■ In that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. ■ The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
