7月7日夕

人の子がきたのも、仕えられるためではなく、仕えるためであり、また多くの人のあがないとして、自分の命を与えるためである。 [マタ20:28]

もし、やぎや雄牛の血や雌牛の灰が、汚れた人たちの上にまきかけられて、肉体をきよめ聖別するとすれば、永遠の聖霊によって、ご自身を傷なき者として神にささげられたキリストの血は、なおさら、わたしたちの良心をきよめて死んだわざを取り除き、生ける神に仕える者としないであろうか。 [ヘブ9:13,14]

ほふり場にひかれて行く小羊のように･･･。 ■ わたしは羊のために命を捨てるのである。だれかが、わたしからそれを取り去るのではない。わたしが、自分からそれを捨てるのである。わたしには、それを捨てる力があり、またそれを受ける力もある。 [イザ53:7 | ヨハ10:15,18]

肉の命は血にあるからである。あなたがたの魂のために祭壇の上で、あがないをするため、わたしはこれをあなたがたに与えた。血は命であるゆえに、あがなうことができるからである。 ■ 血を流すことなしには、罪のゆるしはあり得ない。 [レヒ17:11 | ヘブ9:22]

まだ罪人であった時、わたしたちのためにキリストが死んで下さった。･･･わたしたちは、キリストの血によって今は義とされているのだから、なおさら、彼によって神の怒りから救われるであろう。 [ロマ5:8,9]

July 7, Evening

The Son of man came to give his life a ransom for many. [Matt.20:28]

If the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? [Heb.9:13,14]

He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter. ■ I lay down my life for the sheep. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. [Isa.53:7 | John.10:15,18]

The life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar, to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. ■ Without shedding of blood is no remission. [Lev.17:11 | Heb.9:22]

While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [Rom.5:8,9]
