わたしは父にお願いしよう。そうすれば、父は別に助け主を送って、いつまでもあなたがたと共におらせて下さるであろう。それは真理の御霊である。 [ヨハ14:16,17]

わたしが去って行くことは、あなたがたの益になるのだ。わたしが去って行かなければ、あなたがたのところに助け主はこないであろう。もし行けば、それをあなたがたにつかわそう。 [ヨハ16:7]

御霊みずから、わたしたちの霊と共に、わたしたちが神の子であることをあかしして下さる。 ■ あなたがたは再び恐れをいだかせる奴隷の霊を受けたのではなく、子たる身分を授ける霊を受けたのである。その霊によって、わたしたちは「アバ、父よ」と呼ぶのである。 ■ 御霊もまた同じように、弱いわたしたちを助けて下さる。なぜなら、わたしたちはどう祈ったらよいかわからないが、御霊みずから、言葉にあらわせない切なるうめきをもって、わたしたちのためにとりなして下さるからである。 [ロマ8:16 | ロマ8:15 | ロマ8:26]

どうか、望みの神が、信仰から来るあらゆる喜びと平安とを、あなたがたに満たし、聖霊の力によって、あなたがたを、望みにあふれさせて下さるように。 ■ そして、希望は失望に終ることはない。なぜなら、わたしたちに賜わっている聖霊によって、神の愛がわたしたちの心に注がれているからである。 [ロマ15:13 | ロマ5:5]

June 23, Morning

I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, even the Spirit of truth. [John.14:16,17]

It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if l depart, I will send him unto you. [John.16:7]

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. ■ Ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. ■ The Spirit ... helpeth our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. ■ Hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. [Rom.15:13 | Rom.5:5]

Hereby know we that we dwell in him and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. [I John.4:13]
