このアンテオケで初めて、弟子たちがクリスチャンと呼ばれるようになった。 ■ 主の名を呼ぶ者は、すべて不義から離れよ。 ■ キリスト・イエスに属する者は、自分の肉を、その情と欲と共に十字架につけてしまったのである。 ■ あなたがたは、代価を払って買いとられたのだ。それだから、自分のからだをもって、神の栄光をあらわしなさい。 [使11:26 | 2テモ2:19 | ガラ5:24 | 1コリ6:20]

わたしたちの主イエス・キリストの十字架以外に、誇とするものは、断じてあってはならない。この十字架につけられて、この世はわたしに対して死に、わたしもこの世に対して死んでしまったのである。割礼のあるなしは問題ではなく、ただ、新しく造られることこそ、重要なのである。 [ガラ6:14,15]

A new name. [Rev.2:17]

The disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. ■ Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. ■ They that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. ■ Ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. [Gal.6:14,15]

Be ye ... followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
