キリストが教会を愛してそのためにご自身をささげられたように、妻を愛しなさい。キリストがそうなさったのは、水で洗うことにより、言葉によって、教会をきよめて聖なるものとするためであり、また、しみも、しわも、そのたぐいのものがいっさいなく、清くて傷のない栄光の姿の教会を、ご自分に迎えるためである。 [エペ5:25-27]

大いなるしるしが天に現れた。ひとりの女が太陽を着ていた。 ■ （大声で言った）「わたしたちは喜び楽しみ、神をあがめまつろう。小羊の婚姻の時がきて、花嫁はその用意をしたからである。彼女は、光り輝く、汚れのない麻布の衣を着ることを許された。この麻布の衣は、聖徒たちの正しい行いである」。 ■ イエス・キリストを信じる信仰による神の義であって、すべて信じる人に与えられるものである。そこにはなんらの差別もない。 [黙12:1 | 黙19:7,8 | ロマ3:22]

Christ loved the church, and gave himself for it; that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. [Eph.5:25-27]

There appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun. ■ The marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
