わたしたちの主イエス・キリスト･･･は富んでおられたのに、あなたがたのために貧しくなられた。それは、あなたがたが、彼の貧しさによって富む者になるためである。 [2コリ8:9]

神は、御旨によって、御子のうちにすべての満ちみちた徳を宿らせ、･･･彼によってご自分と和解させて下さったのである。 ■ 御子は神の栄光の輝きであり、神の本質の真の姿であって、その力ある言葉をもって万物を保っておられる。そして罪のきよめのわざをなし終えてから、いと高き所にいます大能者の右に、座につかれたのである。御子は、その受け継がれた名が御使たちの名にまさっているので、彼らよりもすぐれた者となられた。 ■ キリストは、神のかたちであられたが、神と等しくあることを固守すべき事とは思わず、かえって、おのれをむなしうした。 [コロ1:19,20 | ヘブ1:3,4 | ピリ2:6,7]

Our Lord Jesus Christ, ... though he was rich, yet for your sakes ... became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. [II Cor.8:9]

It pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell. ■ The brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. ■ Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation.
