主はとこしえにあなたの光となり、あなたの神はあなたの栄えとなられる。 [イザ60:19]

都は、日や月がそれを照す必要がない。神の栄光が都を明るくし、小羊が都のあかりだからである。 ■ あかりも太陽の光も、いらない。主なる神が彼らを照し、そして、彼らは世々限りなく支配する。 [黙21:23 | 黙22:5]

あなたがたは、選ばれた種族、祭司の国、聖なる国民、神につける民である。それによって、暗やみから驚くべきみ光に招き入れて下さったかたのみわざを、あなたがたが語り伝えるためである。 ■ 光のうちにある聖徒たちの特権にあずかるに足る者とならせて下さった父なる神に、感謝することである。神は、わたしたちをやみの力から救い出して、その愛する御子の支配下に移して下さった。 ■ あなたがたは、以前はやみであったが、今は主にあって光となっている。光の子らしく歩きなさい　 [1ペテ2:9 | コロ1:12,13 | エペ5:8]

わたしたちは、夜の者でもやみの者でもない。 [1テサ5:5]

正しい者の道は、夜明けの光のようだ、いよいよ輝きを増して真昼となる。 [箴4:18]

April 13, Evening

There shall be no night there. [Rev.21:25]

The Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. [Isa.60:19]

The city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. ■ They need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light. [Rev.21:24 | Rev.22:5]

Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. ■ Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. ■ Ye were sometime darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. We are not of the night, nor of darkness. [I Thes.5:5]

The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. [Prov.4:18]
