あなたはもはや「捨てられた者」と言われず、･･･あなたは「わが喜びは彼女にある」ととなえられる。主はあなたを喜ばれ、･･･花婿が花嫁を喜ぶようにあなたの神はあなたを喜ばれる。 ■ 主なる神が･･･わたしをつかわした･･･すべての悲しむ者を慰め、シオンの中の悲しむ者に喜びを与え、灰にかえて冠を与え、悲しみにかえて喜びの油を与え、憂いの心にかえて、さんびの衣を与えさせるためである。 [イザ62:4,5 | イザ61:1-3]

わたしは主を大いに喜び、わが魂はわが神を楽しむ。主がわたしに救の衣を着せ、･･･花婿が冠をいただき、花嫁が宝玉をもって飾るようにされたからである。 [イザ61:10]

Thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name. [Isa.54:5]

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. [Eph.5:32]

Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken ... but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, ... for the Lord delighteth in thee. And as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. ■ He hath sent me ... to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. [Isa.61:10]
