イエスは、聖書を悟らせるために彼らの心を開いて ■ 助け主、すなわち、父がわたしの名によってつかわされる聖霊は、あなたがたにすべてのことを教えるであろう。 ■ あらゆる良い贈り物、あらゆる完全な賜物は、上から、光の父から下って来る。 [ルカ24:45 | ヨハ14:26 | ヤコ1:17]

どうか、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストの神、栄光の父が、知恵と啓示との霊をあなたがたに賜わって神を認めさせ、あなたがたの心の目を明らかにして下さるように、そして、あなたがたが神に召されていだいている望みがどんなものであるか、聖徒たちがつぐべき神の国がいかに栄光に富んだものであるか、また、神の力強い活動によって働く力が、わたしたち信じる者にとっていかに絶大なものであるかを、あなたがたが知るに至るように、と祈っている。 [エペ1:17-19]

What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee ... Lord, that I may receive my sight. [Luke.18:41]

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. [Psa.119:18]

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures. ■ The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, ... shall teach you all things. ■ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights. The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, ... give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, accordng to the working of his mighty power. [Eph.1:17-19]
