わたしたちの救主なる神の慈悲と博愛とが現れた。 [テト3:4]

わたしは限りなき愛をもってあなたを愛している。 [エレ31:3]

神はそのひとり子を世につかわし、彼によってわたしたちを生きるようにして下さった。それによって、わたしたちに対する神の愛が明らかにされたのである。わたしたちが神を愛したのではなく、神がわたしたちを愛して下さって、わたしたちの罪のためにあがないの供え物として、御子をおつかわしになった。ここに愛がある。 [1ヨハ4:9,10]

時の満ちるに及んで、神は御子を女から生れさせ、律法の下に生れさせて、おつかわしになった。それは、律法の下にある者をあがない出すため、わたしたちに子たる身分を授けるためであった。 ■ そして言は肉体となり、わたしたちのうちに宿った。わたしたちはその栄光を見た。それは父のひとり子としての栄光であって、めぐみとまこととに満ちていた。 ■ 確かに偉大なのは、この信心の奥義である、「キリストは肉において現れた」。 [ガラ4:4,5 | ヨハ1:14 | 1テモ3:16]

子たちは血と肉とに共にあずかっているので、イエスもまた同様に、それらをそなえておられる。それは、死の力を持つ者、すなわち悪魔を、ご自分の死によって滅ぼし、死の恐怖のために一生涯、奴隷となっていた者たちを、解き放つためである。 [ヘブ2:14,15]

The kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared. [Tit.3:4]

I have loved thee with an everlasting love. [Jer.31:3]

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. [I John.4:9,10]

When the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. ■ The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, [and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father] full of grace and truth. ■ Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh. [Gal.4:4,5 | John.1:14 | I Tim.3:16]

As the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil. [Heb.2:14]
