万物の終りが近づいている。 [1ペテ4:7]

また見ていると、大きな白い御座があり、そこにいますかたがあった。天も地も御顔の前から逃げ去って、あとかたもなくなった。 ■ 今の天と地とは、･･･不信仰な人々がさばかれ、滅ぼさるべき日に火で焼かれる時まで、そのまま保たれているのである。 [黙20:11 | 2ペテ3:7]

神はわれらの避け所また力である。悩める時のいと近き助けである。このゆえに、たとい地は変り、山は海の真中に移るとも、われらは恐れない。たといその水は鳴りとどろき、あわだつとも、そのさわぎによって山は震え動くとも、われらは恐れない。[セラ] ■ 戦争と戦争のうわさとを聞くであろう。注意していなさい、あわててはいけない。 [詩46:1-3 | マタ24:6]

神からいただく建物、･･･人の手によらない永遠の家。 ■ わたしたちは、･･･義の住む新しい天と新しい地とを待ち望んでいる。愛する者たちよ。それだから、この日を待っているあなたがたは、しみもなくきずもなく、安らかな心で、神のみまえに出られるように励みなさい。 [2コリ5:1 | 2ペテ3:13,14]

October 25, Evening

The end of all things is at hand. [I Pet.4:7]

I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. ■ The heavens and the earth, which are now, ... are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment. [Rev.20:11 | II Pet.3:7]

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. ■ Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled. [Psa.46:1-3 | Matt.24:6]

We have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. ■ We ... look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. [II Cor.5:1 | II Pet.3:13,14]
