主はわたしに味方する。 [詩118:7]

主が悩みの日にあなたに答え、ヤコブの神のみ名があなたを守られるように。主が聖所から助けをあなたにおくり、シオンからあなたをささえ、われらがあなたの勝利を喜びうたい、われらの神のみ名によって旗を揚げるように。･･･ある者は戦車を誇り、ある者は馬を誇る。しかしわれらは、われらの神、主のみ名を誇る。彼らはかがみ、また倒れる。しかしわれらは起きて、まっすぐに立つ。 [詩20:1,2,5,7,8]

主は、せき止めた川を、そのいぶきで押し流すように、こられるからである。 ■ あなたがたの会った試錬で、世の常でないものはない。神は真実である。あなたがたを耐えられないような試錬に会わせることはないばかりか、試錬と同時に、それに耐えられるように、のがれる道も備えて下さるのである。 [イザ59:19 | 1コリ10:13]

神がわたしたちの味方であるなら、だれがわたしたちに敵し得ようか。 ■ 主がわたしに味方されるので、恐れることはない。 [ロマ8:31 | 詩118:6]

わたしたちの仕えている神は、その火の燃える炉から、わたしたちを救い出すことができます。 [ダニ3:17]

September 12, Evening

The Lord taketh my part. [Psa.118:7]

The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion. We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. [Psa.20:1,2,5,7,8]

When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. ■ There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able: but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. [Isa.59:19 | I Cor.10:13]

If God be for us, who can be against us? ■ The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. [Rom.8:31 | Psa.118:6]

Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us, and he will deliver us. [Dan.3:17]
