わたしの食物というのは、わたしをつかわされたかたのみこころを行い、そのみわざをなし遂げることである。あなたがたは、刈入れ時が来るまでには、まだ四か月あると、言っているではないか。しかし、わたしはあなたがたに言う。目をあげて畑を見なさい。はや色づいて刈入れを待っている。刈る者は報酬を受けて、永遠の命に至る実を集めている。まく者も刈る者も、共々に喜ぶためである。 ■ 天国は、ある家の主人が、自分のぶどう園に労働者を雇うために、夜が明けると同時に、出かけて行くようなものである。彼は労働者たちと、一日一デナリの約束をして、彼らをぶどう園に送った。 [ヨハ4:34-36 | マタ20:1,2]

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day. [John.9:4]

My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest: behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. ■ The kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
