賞を得るように走りなさい。 [1コリ9:24]

なまけ者は言う、「ししがそとにいる、わたしは、ちまたで殺される」と。 ■ いっさいの重荷と、からみつく罪とをかなぐり捨てて、わたしたちの参加すべき競走を、耐え忍んで走りぬこうではないか。信仰の導き手であり、またその完成者であるイエスを仰ぎ見つつ･･･。 [箴22:13 | ヘブ12:1,2]

肉と霊とのいっさいの汚れから自分をきよめ、神をおそれて全く清くなろうではないか。 [2コリ7:1]

目標を目ざして走り、･･･努めているのである。 ■ わたしは目標のはっきりしないような走り方をせず、空を打つような拳闘はしない。すなわち、自分のからだを打ちたたいて服従させるのである。そうしないと、ほかの人に宣べ伝えておきながら、自分は失格者になるかも知れない。 [ピリ3:14 | 1コリ9:26,27]

So run, that ye may obtain. [I Cor.9:24]

The slothful man saith, There is a lion without. ■ Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. [Prov.22:13 | Heb.12:1,2]

Let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. [II Cor.7:1]

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
