With the ancient is wisdom. and in length of days understanding.

The days of our years are threescore years and ten. and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow. for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. ■ We spend our years as a tale that is told.

The beauty of old men is the grey head. ■ Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies. and all the things you can desire are not to be compared to her. Length of days is in her right hand. and in her left hand riches and honour.
