話がすむと、シモンに「沖へこぎ出し、網をおろして漁をしてみなさい」と言われた。シモンは答えて言った、「先生、わたしたちは夜通し働きましたが、何も取れませんでした。しかし、お言葉ですから、網をおろしてみましょう」。そしてそのとおりにしたところ、おびただしい魚の群れがはいって、網が破れそうになった。そこで、もう一そうの舟にいた仲間に、加勢に来るよう合図をしたので、彼らがきて魚を両方の舟いっぱいに入れた。そのために、舟が沈みそうになった。これを見てシモン・ペテロは、イエスのひざもとにひれ伏して言った、「主よ、わたしから離れてください。わたしは罪深い者です」。彼も一緒にいた者たちもみな、取れた魚がおびただしいのに驚いたからである。 [ルカ5:4-9]

だから、愛する兄弟たちよ。堅く立って動かされず、いつも全力を注いで主のわざに励みなさい。主にあっては、あなたがたの労苦がむだになることはないと、あなたがたは知っているからである。 [1コリ15:58]

Whatsoever he says to you, do it. [Joh2:5]

Without me you can do nothing. [Joh15:5]

Now when he had left speaking, he said to Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said to him. Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing. nevertheless at your word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes. and their net brake. And they beckoned to their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying. Depart from me. for I am a sinful man, Oh Lord. For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: [Lu5:4-9]

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be you stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. [1Co15:58]
