富の増し加わるとき、これに心をかけてはならない。 [詩篇62:10]

あなたはあなたの神、主を覚えなければならない。主はあなたの先祖たちに誓われた契約を今日のように行うために、あなたに富を得る力を与えられるからである。 ■ 主の祝福は人を富ませる、主はこれになんの悲しみをも加えない。 [申命8:18 | 箴言10:22]

富める者はその富を誇ってはならない。誇る者はこれを誇とせよ。すなわち、さとくあって、わたしを知っていることを。 ■ 富はたちまち自ら翼を生じて、飛び去るからだ。 [エレ9:23-24 | 箴言23:5]

If riches increase, set not your heart upon them. [Ps62:10]

You shalt remember the Lord your God. for it is he that gives you power to get wealth. ■ The blessing of the Lord, it makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. [De8:18 | Pr10:22]

Let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord. ■ Riches certainly make themselves wings. they fly away. [Jer9:23-24 | Pr23:5]

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy; [1Ti6:17]

And I have also given you that which you has not asked, both riches, and honour. so that there shall not be any like to you all your days. ■ Riches are not for ever. ■ Give me neither poverty nor riches. feed me with food convenient for me: ■ Honour the Lord with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase: So shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine.
