主の前にもだし、耐え忍びて主を待ち望め。 [詩篇37:7]

するとイエスは彼らに言われた、「さあ、あなたがたは、人を避けて寂しい所へ行って、しばらく休むがよい」。 [マルコ6:31]

こうして彼らはエリムに着いた。そこには水の泉十二と、なつめやしの木七十本があった。その所で彼らは水のほとりに宿営した。 [出エ15:27]

彼はれだまの木の下に伏して眠ったが、天の使が彼にさわり、「起きて食べなさい」と言ったので、起きて見ると、頭のそばに、焼け石の上で焼いたパン一個と、一びんの水があった。彼は食べ、かつ飲んでまた寝た。主の使は再びきて、彼にさわって言った、「起きて食べなさい。道が遠くて耐えられないでしょうから」。彼は起きて食べ、かつ飲み、その食物で力づいて四十日四十夜行って、神の山ホレブに着いた。 [1列王19:5]

主はわたしの牧者であって、わたしには乏しいことがない。主はわたしを緑の牧場に伏させ、いこいのみぎわに伴われる。主はわたしの魂をいきかえらせる。 [詩篇23:1-3]

Convalescence 1

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him. [Ps37:7]

And he said to them. Come you yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while. [Mr6:31]

And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees. and they encamped there by the waters. [Ex15:27]

And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, look, then an angel touched him, and said to him. Arise and eat. And he looked, and, look, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again. And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said. Arise and eat. because the journey is too great for you. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights to Horeb the mount of God. [1Ki19:5]

The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want.He makes me to lie down in green pastures. he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul. [Ps23:1-3]
