信仰による祈は、病んでいる人を救う。 [ヤコブ5:15]

この病気は死ぬほどのものではない。それは神の栄光のためのものである。 [ヨハネ11:4]

しかし彼はわたしの歩む道を知っておられる。彼がわたしを試みられるとき、わたしは金のように出て来るであろう。 [ヨブ23:10]

さしあたり、わたしの同労者で戦友である兄弟、また、あなたがたの使者としてわたしの窮乏を補ってくれたエパフロデトを、あなたがたのもとに送り返すことが必要だと思っている。彼は、あなたがた一同にしきりに会いたがっているからである。その上、自分の病気のことがあなたがたに聞えたので、彼は心苦しく思っている。彼は実に、ひん死の病気にかかったが、神は彼をあわれんで下さった。彼ばかりではなく、わたしをもあわれんで下さったので、わたしは悲しみに悲しみを重ねないですんだのである。 ■ こうした人々は尊重せねばならない。彼は、わたしに対してあなたがたが奉仕のできなかった分を補おうとして、キリストのわざのために命をかけ、死ぬばかりになったのである。 [ピリピ2:25-27 | ピリピ2:29-30]

ところが、主が言われた、「わたしの恵みはあなたに対して十分である。わたしの力は弱いところに完全にあらわれる」。それだから、キリストの力がわたしに宿るように、むしろ、喜んで自分の弱さを誇ろう。 [2コリ12:9]

Recovery from sickness 2

The prayer of faith shall save the sick. [Jas5:15]

This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God. [Joh11:4]

But he knows the way that I take. when he has tried me. I shall come forth as gold. [Job23:10]

I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellow soldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants. For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that you had heard that he had been sick. For indeed he was sick nigh to death. but God had mercy on him. and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. ■ Hold such in reputation: Because for the work of Christ he was nigh to death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me. [Php2:25-27 | Php2:29-30]

And he said to me. My grace is sufficient for you. for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. [2Co12:9]
