Bereavement 1
Father. I will that they also, whom you has given me, be with me where I am.
[Joh17:24]
He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him any more.
[Job7:10]
Whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: ■ We are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. ■ I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ. which is far better: ■ Whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
[2Co5:6 | 2Co5:8 | Php1:23 | Ro14:8]
For you had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that you have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. ■ It does not yet appear what we shall be. but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him. for we shall see him as he is. ■ Now we see through a glass, darkly. but then face to face. ■ I will behold your face in righteousness. I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with your likeness.
[Heb10:34 | 1Jo3:2 | 1Co13:12 | Ps17:15]
So shall we ever be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
[1Th4:17-18]
