主よ、ただ今、あなたが愛しておられる者が病気をしています。 [ヨハネ11:3]

だれが、キリストの愛からわたしたちを離れさせるのか。患難か、苦悩か。 ■ 主は愛する者を訓練されるのである。 ■ すべての訓練は、当座は、喜ばしいものとは思われず、むしろ悲しいものと思われる。しかし後になれば、それによって鍛えられる者に、平安な義の実を結ばせるようになる。 ■ 神は、神を愛する者たちと共に働いて、万事を益となるようにして下さることを、わたしたちは知っている。 [ローマ8:35 | ヘブル12:6 | ヘブル12:11 | ローマ8:28]

ところが、主が言われた、「わたしの恵みはあなたに対して十分である。わたしの力は弱いところに完全にあらわれる」。それだから、キリストの力がわたしに宿るように、むしろ、喜んで自分の弱さを誇ろう。 [2コリ12:9]

For sickness 1

Lord, look, he whom you love is sick. [Joh11:3]

Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows. ■ Himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses. ■ He, being full of compassion. ■ Like as a father pities his children, so the Lord pities them that fear him. For he knows our frame. [Isa53:4 | Mt8:17 | Ps78:38 | Ps103:13-14]

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress? ■ For whom the Lord loves he chastens. ■ Now no chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous. nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to them which are exercised thereby. ■ We know that all things work together for good to them that love God. And he said to me. My grace is sufficient for you. for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. [2Co12:9]
