子たちは血と肉とに共にあずかっているので、イエスもまた同様に、それらをそなえておられる。それは、死の恐怖のために一生涯、奴隷となっていた者たちを、解き放つためである。 [ヘブ2:14,15]

「死は勝利にのまれてしまった。死よ、おまえの勝利は、どこにあるのか。死よ、おまえのとげは、どこにあるのか」。しかし感謝すべきことには、神はわたしたちの主イエス・キリストによって、わたしたちに勝利を賜わったのである。 ■ わたしたちは落胆しない。たといわたしたちの外なる人は滅びても、内なる人は日ごとに新しくされていく。 [1コリ15:55,57 | 2コリ4:16]

地上の幕屋がこわれると、神からいただく建物、すなわち天にある、人の手によらない永遠の家が備えてあることを、わたしたちは知っている。だから、わたしたちはいつも心強い。そして、肉体を宿としている間は主から離れていることを、よく知っている。･･･そして、むしろ肉体から離れて主と共に住むことが、願わしいと思っている。 [2コリ5:1,6,8]

「あなたがたは、心を騒がせないがよい。神を信じ、またわたしを信じなさい。わたしの父の家には、すまいがたくさんある。もしなかったならば、わたしはそう言っておいたであろう。あなたがたのために、場所を用意しに行くのだから。 [ヨハ14:1,2]

November 28, Evening

As the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that he might deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. [Heb.2:14,15]

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. ■ For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. [I Cor.15:55,57 | II Cor.4:16]

We know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. We are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. [II Cor.5:1,6-8]

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [John.14:1-3]
