わたしは、あなたからいただいた栄光を彼らにも与えました。 [ヨハ17:22]

わたしは主が高くあげられたみくらに座し、その衣のすそが神殿に満ちているのを見た。その上にセラピムが立ち、･･･互に呼びかわして言った。「聖なるかな、聖なるかな、聖なるかな、万軍の主、その栄光は全地に満つ」。 ■ イザヤがこう言ったのは、イエスの栄光を見たからであって、イエスのことを語ったのである。 ■ その位の形の上に、人の姿のような形があった。そのまわりにある輝きのさまは、雨の日に雲に起るにじのようであった。主の栄光の形のさまは、このようであった。 [イザ6:1-3 | ヨハ12:41 | エゼ1:26,28]

モーセは言った、「どうぞ、あなたの栄光をわたしにお示しください」。また（神は）言われた、「しかし、あなたはわたしの顔を見ることはできない。わたしを見て、なお生きている人はないからである」。 ■ 神を見た者はまだひとりもいない。ただ父のふところにいるひとり子なる神だけが、神をあらわしたのである。 ■ 「やみの中から光が照りいでよ」と仰せになった神は、キリストの顔に輝く神の栄光の知識を明らかにするために、わたしたちの心を照して下さったのである。 [出33:18,20 | ヨハ1:18 | 2コリ4:6]

The glory which thou gavest me I have given them. [John.17:22]

I saw ... the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory. ■ These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. ■ Upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness ... of a man above upon it. As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
