わたしたちに負債のある者をゆるしましたように、わたしたちの負債をもおゆるしください。 [マタ6:12]

「主よ、兄弟がわたしに対して罪を犯した場合、幾たびゆるさねばなりませんか。七たびまでですか」。イエスは彼に言われた、「わたしは七たびまでとは言わない。七たびを七十倍するまでにしなさい」。 ■ 『悪い僕、わたしに願ったからこそ、あの負債を全部ゆるしてやったのだ。わたしがあわれんでやったように、あの仲間をあわれんでやるべきではなかったか』。そして主人は立腹して、負債全部を返してしまうまで、彼を獄吏に引きわたした。あなたがためいめいも、もし心から兄弟をゆるさないならば、わたしの天の父もまたあなたがたに対して、そのようになさるであろう。 ■ 互に情深く、あわれみ深い者となり、神がキリストにあってあなたがたをゆるして下さったように、あなたがたも互にゆるし合いなさい。 ■ 神は、あなたがたをキリストと共に生かし、わたしたちのいっさいの罪をゆるして下さった。神は、わたしたちを責めて不利におとしいれる証書を、その規定もろともぬり消し、これを取り除いて、十字架につけてしまわれた。 ■ 主もあなたがたをゆるして下さったのだから、そのように、あなたがたもゆるし合いなさい。 [マタ18:21,22 | マタ18:32-35 | エペ4:32 | コロ2:13,14 | コロ3:13]

October 15, Evening

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. [Matt.6:12]

Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. ■ O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. ■ Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. ■ You, ... hath he quickened, ... having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. ■ Even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
