あなたはいのちの道をわたしに示される。 [詩16:11]

主はこう仰せられる、見よ、わたしは命の道と死の道とをあなたがたの前に置く。 ■ わたしはまた良い、正しい道を、あなたがたに教えるであろう。 ■ わたしは道であり、真理であり、命である。だれでもわたしによらないでは、父のみもとに行くことはできない。 ■ わたしについてきなさい。 [エレ21:8 | 1サム12:23 | ヨハ14:6 | マタ4:19]

人が見て自ら正しいとする道でも、その終りはついに死に至る道となるものがある。 ■ 滅びにいたる門は大きく、その道は広い。そして、そこからはいって行く者が多い。命にいたる門は狭く、その道は細い。そして、それを見いだす者が少ない。 [箴14:12 | マタ7:13,14]

そこに大路があり、その道は聖なる道ととなえられる。汚れた者はこれを通り過ぎることはできない、愚かなる者はそこに迷い入ることはない。 ■ わたしたちは主を知ろう、せつに主を知ることを求めよう。 [イザ35:8 | ホセ6:3]

わたしの父の家には、すまいがたくさんある。もしなかったならば、わたしはそう言っておいたであろう。あなたがたのために、場所を用意しに行くのだから。 [ヨハ14:2]

Thou wilt shew me the path of life. [Psa.16:11]

Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death. ■ I will teach you the good and the right way. ■ I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ■ Follow me. [Jer.21:8 | I Sam.12:23 | John.14:6 | Matt.4:19]

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the ends thereof are the ways of death. ■ Wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, that leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. An highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. ■ Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord. [Isa.35:8 | Hos.6:3]
