わたしは知る、わたしをあがなう者は生きておられる。 [ヨブ19:25]

もし、わたしたちが敵であった時でさえ、御子の死によって神との和解を受けたとすれば、和解を受けている今は、なおさら、彼のいのちによって救われるであろう。 ■ 彼（キリスト）は、永遠にいますかたであるので、変らない祭司の務を持ちつづけておられるのである。そこでまた、彼は、いつも生きていて彼らのためにとりなしておられるので、彼によって神に来る人々を、いつも救うことができるのである。 [ロマ5:10 | ヘブ7:24,25]

わたしが生きるので、あなたがたも生きるからである。 ■ もしわたしたちが、この世の生活でキリストにあって単なる望みをいだいているだけだとすれば、わたしたちは、すべての人の中で最もあわれむべき存在となる。しかし事実、キリストは眠っている者の初穂として、死人の中からよみがえったのである。 [ヨハ14:19 | 1コリ15:19,20]

主は言われる、「主は、あがなう者としてシオンにきたり、ヤコブのうちの、とがを離れる者に至る」と。 ■ わたしたちは、御子にあって、神の豊かな恵みのゆえに、その血によるあがない、すなわち、罪過のゆるしを受けたのである。 ■ あなたがたが先祖伝来の空疎な生活からあがない出されたのは、銀や金のような朽ちる物によったのではなく、きずも、しみもない小羊のようなキリストの尊い血によったのである。 [イザ59:20 | エペ1:7 | 1ペテ1:18,19]

I know that my Redeemer liveth. [Job.19:25]

If, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. ■ This man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. [Rom.5:10 | Heb.7:24,25]

Because I live, ye shall live also. ■ If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. [John.14:19 | I Cor.15:19,20]

The Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord. ■ We have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. ■ Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
