インマヌエル･･･「神われらと共にいます」。 [マタ1:23]

神は、はたして人と共に地上に住まわれるでしょうか。見よ、天も、いと高き天もあなたをいれることはできません。 ■ そして言は肉体となり、わたしたちのうちに宿った。わたしたちはその栄光を見た。それは父のひとり子としての栄光であって、めぐみとまこととに満ちていた。 ■ 確かに偉大なのは、この信心の奥義である、「キリストは肉において現れた」。 [2歴6:18 | ヨハ1:14 | 1テモ3:16]

（神は）この終りの時には、御子によって、わたしたちに語られたのである。神は御子を万物の相続者と定め、また、御子によって、もろもろの世界を造られた。 [ヘブ1:2]

一週の初めの日の夕方、弟子たちは自分たちのおる所の戸をみなしめていると、イエスがはいってきて、彼らの中に立ち、･･･弟子たちは主を見て喜んだ。八日ののち、イエスの弟子たちはまた家の内におり、トマスも一緒にいた。･･･トマスに言われた、「あなたの指をここにつけて、わたしの手を見なさい。手をのばしてわたしのわきにさし入れてみなさい。信じない者にならないで、信じる者になりなさい」。トマスはイエスに答えて言った、「わが主よ、わが神よ」。 ■ ひとりのみどりごがわれわれのために生れた･･･大能の神。 [ヨハ20:19,20,26-28 | イザ9:6]

Emmanuel, ... God with us. [Matt.1:23]

Will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee. ■ The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, [and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,] full of grace and truth. ■ Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh. God hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds. [Heb.1:2]

The first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, ... came Jesus and stood in the midst. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. After eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Then saith [Jesus] to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
