貧しい聖徒を助けなさい。 [ロマ12:13]

時にダビデは言った、「サウルの家の人で、なお残っている者があるか。わたしはヨナタンのために、その人に恵みを施そう」。 [2サム9:1]

わたしの父に祝福された人たちよ、さあ、世の初めからあなたがたのために用意されている御国を受けつぎなさい。あなたがたは、わたしが空腹のときに食べさせ、かわいていたときに飲ませ、旅人であったときに宿を貸し、裸であったときに着せ、病気のときに見舞い、獄にいたときに尋ねてくれたからである。･･･わたしの兄弟であるこれらの最も小さい者のひとりにしたのは、すなわち、わたしにしたのである。 ■ わたしの弟子であるという名のゆえに、この小さい者のひとりに冷たい水一杯でも飲ませてくれる者は、よく言っておくが、決してその報いからもれることはない」。 [マタ25:34-36,40 | マタ10:42]

そして、善を行うことと施しをすることとを、忘れてはいけない。神は、このようないけにえを喜ばれる。 ■ 神は不義なかたではないから、あなたがたの働きや、あなたがたがかつて聖徒に仕え、今もなお仕えて、御名のために示してくれた愛を、お忘れになることはない。 [ヘブ13:16 | ヘブ6:10]

Distributing to the necessity of saints. [Rom.12:13]

David said, Is there yet any that is left ... of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake? [II Sam.9:1]

Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. ■ Whosoever shall give to drink one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. To do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sactifices God is well pleased. ■ God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. [Heb.13:16 | Heb.6:10]
