アブラムは主を信じた。主はこれを彼の義と認められた。 [創15:6]

彼（アブラハム）は、神の約束を不信仰のゆえに疑うようなことはせず、かえって信仰によって強められ、栄光を神に帰し、神はその約束されたことを、また成就することができると確信した。だから、彼は義と認められたのである。しかし「義と認められた」と書いてあるのは、アブラハムのためだけではなく、わたしたちのためでもあって、わたしたちの主イエスを死人の中からよみがえらせたかたを信じるわたしたちも、義と認められるのである。 [ロマ4:20-24]

世界を相続させるとの約束が、アブラハムとその子孫とに対してなされたのは、律法によるのではなく、信仰の義によるからである。 [ロマ4:13]

信仰による義人は生きる。 ■ また、約束をして下さったのは忠実なかたであるから、わたしたちの告白する望みを、動くことなくしっかりと持ち続け、 ■ われらの神は天にいらせられる。神はみこころにかなうすべての事を行われる。 ■ 神には、なんでもできないことはありません」。主のお語りになったことが必ず成就すると信じた女は、なんとさいわいなことでしょう。 [ロマ1:17 | ヘブ10:23 | 詩115:3 | ルカ1:37,45]

March 24, Morning

Abraham believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness. [Gen.15:6]

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him: but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead. [Rom.4:20-24]

The promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. [Rom.4:13]

The just shall live by faith. ■ Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; [for he is faithful that promised]. ■ Our God is in the heavens; he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. ■ With God nothing shall be impossible.
