だれかあなたのように不義をゆるし、その嗣業の残れる者のためにとがを見過ごされる神があろうか。神はいつくしみを喜ばれるので、その怒りをながく保たず、再びわれわれをあわれみ、われわれの不義を足で踏みつけられる。あなたはわれわれのもろもろの罪を海の深みに投げ入れ、 [ミカ7:18,19]

「わたしはしばしばあなたを捨てたけれども、大いなるあわれみをもってあなたを集める。あふれる憤りをもって、しばしわが顔を隠したけれども、とこしえのいつくしみをもって、あなたをあわれむ」とあなたをあがなわれる主は言われる。 ■ わたしは彼らの不義をゆるし、もはやその罪を思わない。 [イザ54:7,8 | エレ31:34]

そのとががゆるされ、その罪がおおい消される者はさいわいである。主によって不義を負わされず、その霊に偽りのない人はさいわいである。 ■ 御子イエスの血が、すべての罪からわたしたちをきよめるのである。 [詩32:1,2 | 1ヨハ1:7]

Thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. [Isa.38:17]

Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger forever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. [Mic.7:18,19]

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer. ■ I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
