信仰の戦いをりっぱに戦いぬきなさい。 [1テモ6:12]

わたしたちには･･･外には戦い、内には恐れがあった。 ■ 恐れることはない。われわれと共にいる者は彼らと共にいる者よりも多いのだから。 ■ 主にあって、その偉大な力によって、強くなりなさい。 [2コリ7:5 | 2列6:16 | エペ6:10]

ダビデはペリシテびとに言った、「おまえはつるぎと、やりと、投げやりを持って、わたしに向かってくるが、わたしは万軍の主の名、すなわち、おまえがいどんだ、イスラエルの軍の神の名によって、おまえに立ち向かう。 ■ この神こそわたしの堅固な避け所であり、･･･わたしの手を戦いに慣らされたので、わたしの腕は青銅の弓を引くことができる。 ■ わたしたちのこうした力は、神からきている。 [1サム17:45 | 2サム22:33,35 | 2コリ3:5]

ギデオン、バラク、サムソン、エフタ、ダビデ、サムエル及び預言者たちについて語り出すなら、時間が足りないであろう。彼らは信仰によって、国々を征服し、義を行い、約束のものを受け、ししの口をふさぎ、火の勢いを消し、つるぎの刃をのがれ、弱いものは強くされ、戦いの勇者となり、他国の軍を退かせた。 [ヘブ11:32-34]

Fight the good fight of faith. [I Tim.6:12]

Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. ■ God is my strength and power: ... he teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. ■ Our sufficiency is of God. The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. ■ Behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. [Psa.34:7 | II Kgs.6:17]

The time would fail me to tell of [those] who through faith subdued kingdoms, ... out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. [Heb.11:32-34]
