光は正しい人のために現れ、喜びは心の正しい者のためにあらわれる。 [詩97:11]

涙をもって種まく者は、喜びの声をもって刈り取る。種を携え、涙を流して出て行く者は、束を携え、喜びの声をあげて帰ってくるであろう。 [詩126:5-6]

あなたのまくのは、やがて成るべきからだをまくのではない。 [1コリ15:37]

ほむべきかな、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストの父なる神。神は、その豊かなあわれみにより、イエス・キリストを死人の中からよみがえらせ、それにより、わたしたちを新たに生れさせて生ける望みをいだかせ、そのことを思って、今しばらくのあいだは、さまざまな試錬で悩まねばならないかも知れないが、あなたがたは大いに喜んでいる。こうして、あなたがたの信仰はためされて、火で精錬されても朽ちる外はない金よりもはるかに尊いことが明らかにされ、イエス・キリストの現れるとき、さんびと栄光とほまれとに変るであろう。 [1ペテ1:3,6,7]

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. [Psa.97:11]

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. [Psa.126:5,6]

That which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be. [I Cor.15:27]

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
