主の木･･･は豊かに潤されている。 [詩104:16]

わたしはイスラエルに対しては露のようになる。彼はゆりのように花咲き、ポプラのように根を張り、その枝は茂りひろがり、その麗しさはオリブの木のように、そのかんばしさはレバノンのようになる。 ■ おおよそ主にたより、主を頼みとする人はさいわいである。彼は水のほとりに植えた木のようで、その根を川にのばし、暑さにあっても恐れることはない。その葉は常に青く、ひでりの年にも憂えることなく、絶えず実を結ぶ」。 [ホセ14:5,6 | エレ17:7,8]

主なるわたしが高い木を低くし、低い木を高くし、緑の木を枯らし、枯れ木を緑にする。 [エゼ17:24]

正しい者はなつめやしの木のように栄え、レバノンの香柏のように育ちます。彼らは主の家に植えられ、われらの神の大庭に栄えます。彼らは年老いてなお実を結び、いつも生気に満ち、青々として、 [詩92:12-14]

February 11, Evening

The trees of the Lord are full of sap. [Psa.104:16]

I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. His branches shall spread, and his beauty shalt be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. ■ Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. [Hos.14:5,6 | Jer.17:7,8]

I the Lord have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish. [Ezek.17:24]

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing. [Psa.92:12-14]
