あなたがたは、もはや異国人でも宿り人でもなく、聖徒たちと同じ国籍の者であり、神の家族なのである。またあなたがたは、使徒たちや預言者たちという土台の上に建てられたものであって、キリスト・イエスご自身が隅のかしら石である。このキリストにあって、建物全体が組み合わされ、主にある聖なる宮に成長し、そしてあなたがたも、主にあって共に建てられて、霊なる神のすまいとなるのである。 ■ あなたがたは、主が恵み深いかたであることを、すでに味わい知ったはずである。主は、人には捨てられたが、神にとっては選ばれた尊い生ける石である。この主のみもとにきて、あなたがたも、それぞれ生ける石となって、霊の家に築き上げられ、聖なる祭司となって、イエス・キリストにより、神によろこばれる霊のいけにえを、ささげなさい。 [エペ2:19-22 | 1ペテ2:3-5]

Thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. [Isa.60:18]

The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. [Rev.21:14]
