イエスは･･･彼らを深くあわれんだ。 [マタ14:14]

イエス・キリストは、きのうも、きょうも、いつまでも変ることがない。 ■ この大祭司は、わたしたちの弱さを思いやることのできないようなかたではない。罪は犯されなかったが、すべてのことについて、わたしたちと同じように試錬に会われたのである。 ■ 彼は･･･無知な迷っている人々を、思いやることができる。 ■ （イエスは）きてごらんになると、弟子たちが眠っていたので、ペテロに言われた、「シモンよ、眠っているのか、ひと時も目をさましていることができなかったのか。誘惑に陥らないように、目をさまして祈っていなさい。心は熱しているが、肉体が弱いのである」。 [ヘブ13:8 | ヘブ4:15 | ヘブ5:2 | マル14:37,38]

父がその子供をあわれむように、主はおのれを恐れる者をあわれまれる。主はわれらの造られたさまを知り、われらのちりであることを覚えていられるからである。 [詩103:13,14]

主よ、あなたはあわれみと恵みに富み、怒りをおそくし、いつくしみと、まこととに豊かな神でいらせられます。わたしをかえりみ、わたしをあわれみ、あなたのしもべにみ力を与え、あなたのはしための子をお救いください。 [詩86:15,16]

Jesus ... was moved with compassion toward them. [Matt.14:14]

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever. ■ We have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. ■ Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way. ■ He cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour? Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. [Psa.103:13,14]

Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. [Psa.86:15,16]
